FOR PARENTS & THERAPISTS

A little room
to slow down.

Cool Down Lap is a quiet driving game built around a breathing rhythm. Explore together, discover cars, and stop whenever you’re ready.

Your first drive

  1. Start in the garage. No account is needed.
  2. Follow the car uphill for “breathe in” and downhill for “breathe out.” Flat stretches follow your optional hold settings.
  3. Finish a drive to discover a car card. Choose another drive or park for now.

The default drive lasts about a minute and ends at the end of a breathing cycle. You can change the duration in For grown-ups.

Make it comfortable

Sound starts off. You control the volume, breathing rhythm, optional holds and motion in For grown-ups. Pausing stops the timer and sound.

Keep breathing comfortable; following every cue is optional. Stop and breathe normally if the activity feels uncomfortable. The game is a guided activity, not a breathing assessment or treatment.

Discoveries, without a score

Every completed drive earns a card, regardless of how someone breathes. There is no breathing score, streak penalty or camera tracking in this public version.

The album has 500 collectible cards, including imagined concepts. The first 38 have cars you can drive. New places become available as you finish more drives. Taking a break never takes away a discovery.

What gets saved

Guest cars, discovered places and practice time stay in this browser. Clearing browser data or changing browsers can remove access to that local progress.

Optional name-and-password sign-in lets you save across devices. Use a nickname; a child’s full name isn’t needed. There is currently no email-based password recovery, so keep your login somewhere safe and download a backup.

Practice time counts active driving, not measured breathing. Sound and comfort settings stay on each device.
